A New Orleans legend. Stirred, spirit-forward, and complex.

Ingredients

  • Rye Whiskey60 ml
  • Simple syrup5 ml
  • Peychaud's Bitters3 dash
  • Absinthe5 ml

Instructions

    Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe and discard the excess.

  2. 2

    In a separate mixing glass, stir rye whiskey, simple syrup and Peychaud's bitters with ice.

  3. 3

    Strain into the prepared glass (no ice).

  4. 4

    Garnish with a lemon twist.
