Vieux Carré

Ingredients

• Rye Whiskey30 ml
• Cognac30 ml
• Sweet vermouth30 ml
• Benedictine7 ml
• Angostura bitters1 g
• Peychaud's Bitters1 dash

Instructions

   Combine rye whiskey, cognac, sweet vermouth, benedictine and both bitters in a mixing glass with ice.

   Stir until chilled.

   Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

   Garnish with a maraschino cherry or lemon twist.
